Del's 32nd B-Day

Del's birthday was Aug.19, a Sunday, and I wasn't really in the "party" mood for various reasons. I felt really bad because Del always goes the extra mile for my birthdays with suprises and gifts and creative outings, etc. Well, I just wasn't up for it...we did have dinner at my parents' house after church. My mom was very nice to plan a meal just with Del in mind. We also had a cake. When all was said and done, this is the only picture I got of Del on his b-day! (above!) I think my mom took some pictures, so I'll have to get copies of some of hers.

Here are a few pictures of Trey last Sat. before heading to our annual ward swim party at the Firewheel Clubhouse pool. It was a lot of fun. Trey loved splashing around and floating in his little floaty. (The scratch on my arm is from Bear Cub getting a little too exciting about going O-U-T. Did you know that our dogs can spell? They are really smart!)

Just a few more photos from Trey's b-day party on Aug. 13th at our house...I just feel like I should post more photos, but this is all I got. I'll have to take more photos! Del's bro., Shawn, his wife, Colette, and son, Kellen, and Del's mom are coming in Thursday night, so I'm sure I'll have more exciting photos to post really soon!!

12-month pictures (and then some)

Here are just a few more pictures, including Tina's valiant efforts to capture Trey sitting still next to the blue teddy bear for his 12-month picture.

I was feeding him one day, and I thought I'd try to take a picture without the flash. I think he has food in his hair.

I believe that he was about to head to church in this picture. Nice and casual!

This is the best we could do for his 12-month picture! Note the odd expression on his face.

I'm including this last picture only to show the amazing amount of damage that Trey has inflicted on his crib.

Trey's First Birthday!

Okay, so Tina and I haven't been very good at updating the blog lately. We've been a bit busy chasing Trey all over the place. No, he isn't walking quite yet, but he sure crawls around pretty fast, and he likes to get into everything.

Today is Trey's first birthday, so we had a little party for him over at our house. We invited Grandma and Grandpa Jordan, Shannon, Staci, and all of the Jordan cousins. It was quite a house full of people! Here are a few pictures of the party.

Of course, we also did the obligatory "first birthday" cake thing. We opted for a cupcake, but Trey still managed to make quite a mess out of it:

Big Brother is watching you.
