Earlier today I was trying to think what we had done so far today (thinking that we hadn't done much) but we started our day like this...Got the two little kids up, Trey was already up and had cartoons turned on. We watched some cartoons while fixing breakfast, we turned the tv off and Trey said a prayer, then we played some in the family room and in Sadie's room (with some moderate fighting and scaring the dogs by trying to run them over with the shopping cart), then Sadie and Trey did some watercoloring...(Sadie's first time) and then they had ice cream cones...and after that, I don't remember...I probably got on facebook at some point and Sadie ate some soup, James got into the dogs water, Sadie and James went down for a nap and Trey and I ate pastachios...and Grandma Cindy came and picked up Trey to go and spend the afternoon at their house...and that's where I'll leave off. Oh, oh, and the most exciting part of all? When I got Sadie and James up from their naps??...both had gotten into their poopy diapers! Yea for me! James had taken his diaper completely off and peed on half of his crib...with some poop mixed in there...and then Sadie had some poop out of her diaper too and on various places around the crib. Oh joy! :) Gotta' go, hear cries of "Mommy, mommy, mommy!"
These pictures below were taken a few weeks ago...The kids have really been through a bout of illness, but we hope they are finally coming out of it for a time...for a long, long time!!

P.S. To finish up my recap of the day, I tried to get a little rest while Sadie and J slept (not much rest, but a little), did 3 loads of laundry, put a roast in the crock pot for shredded beef sandwiches for dinner (the house smelled so good) with peaches on the side, did a load of dishes, made homemade banana bread, watched Glenn Beck, when Del got home he took Trey and J out front so Trey could ride his bike and I took Sadie out back and we blew bubbles...I gave Sadie and Trey a bath (Sadie had paint all over her from earlier), we were going to give J (aka: Stinky J) a bath, but he got too fussy and ready for bed, so we got him down quickly (only to have him get up a few more times with diarhea before finally settling down for the night). Then I brushed Trey's teeth, read him two stories, layed down with him a bit and other then a few more checks on J, the night was finally ours...aaahhh...until 2am, when Sadie woke up crying which lasted on and off until 4am (drink refills for both kids, diaper changes interdispersed in there)...at which time Trey promptly woke up at 4am and wanted me to lay down with him (out in the living room where he had made his way to the couch at some time in the night)! No, I'm going to bed! Good night! :)
