11 Months Old!

He's 11 months old! I think he's looking longer & leaner. He's growing up!

It was difficult to get him to sit still for his picture. I got a lot of these kinds of pictures.

4th of July!

Trey's 1st haircut!

Del made a red, white, and blue cake for the 4th! He used his red velvet cake recipe for the red and blue layer and frosting and then a homemake white cake recipe for the white. It was very cool and very tasty, too!

Trey's Big Boy Bedroom!

This is Trey on his new bed. We say he is growing up because now he has a big boy bedroom (no more pink flowered curtains for him)! We got this bed from my parents. My mom moved her photos upstairs to one of the extra bedrooms and is making room for picture organization, so offered us one of their twin beds along with this cute headboard that my dad made. Sooo, we couldn't pass that up. Then we found this Bear/Camping themed bedding and couldn't resist it either.

Okay, so we haven't really gotten rid of the pink curtains yet...but will. We have the new curtains, but just haven't put them up yet. We have other bedroom accessories, too, that we need to put up, like a bear clock, bear paw hooks, bear piggy bank, red lantern light, etc...then take down the bunny stuff and save them for our next baby...whenever that will be, (hopefully soon!!!!!), etc. This is Del being the great dad that he is...putting Trey to sleep before church! Bear Cub in Trey's room (and needing a haircut, too). We figure Bear fits the theme of the room and belongs in there. It's his little Bear cave.

Chloe in Trey's room (also needing a haircut). We tried to take a picture of her curled up in Trey's boppy in his room, but by the time I went to get the camera, she had moved...she had to go follow her mama! So, here's a picture of her being a curious "Bub". Side note: Bub is short for Bubba which we sometimes call her because it rhymes with "Cubba" which we sometimes call Bear Cub and is short for Cub...but really longer...We love Bubs and Cubs! :)
