Well, the baby is still in breach...Tina can choose to do the "inversion" thing in two weeks, or she can wait three weeks and have a c-section. She already told the doctor that she didn't want to try the "inversion," so they're going to schedule a c-section for sometime between 7 to 10 days before the original due date, which is September 2nd. That puts the c-section sometime between August 23rd and August 26th. The 23rd is a Wednesday, and I told her that a Thursday would be the best because I could take Thursday and Friday off. But she wants to do it on Wednesday the 23rd...in other words, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I told her that the power to have the baby a whole WEEK earlier is in her hands...she could choose to try the "inversion" thing in just two weeks. If it's unsuccessful or if there are complications, they would give her an emergency c-section. If it's successful, they would induce her, and she'd have the baby "normally." Either way, she'd be under epidural the whole time...so, even if the "inversion" is successful and they induce her, she will be under epidural during that whole process, so she should be able to avoid almost all the pain (right?).
Anyways, she's now tempted to do the "inversion" because it means getting the pregnancy over with a week earlier. We'll probably have to reach a decision very soon. It'd be exciting to have the baby in two weeks, because that would be right before my birthday...maybe we could even set it up so he's born on my birthday? I think that that would be a great birthday present. That...and a pony.
